We partner with SAGE (Science Accelerates Girls’ Excellence) to combat the global gender gap in STEM by offering free online classes and resources to middle school girls a head start in the STEM field.
We teach participants the basics of CAD (Computer-Aided Design), make ideas into models, and sketch different ideas they want to make. In each class, we cover concepts such as sketching, extruding, transforming, morphing, inscribing, and how to print the models you create. These essential skills help the participants understand how to imagine a model, build it on CAD, and finally transform it into a physical object.
In addition to CAD class, we also offer virtual group sessions on Java and Web Design. All classes are free of charge.
We’re really grateful to receive positive feedback from many of the participants. As one SAGE student says: “I really loved the kahoots. Because I am a beginner and I didn’t know how to use java, I couldn’t really understand at the start. It became much easier after attending your classes. I think the teacher explained the topic clearly and I really enjoyed it.”
Please check out the SAGE website for updates on current class schedules and more.
